Esmond studied Ancient World Studies and Latin at University College London. He then undertook the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at BPP, in London where he achieved a Distinction.

Esmond started his training contract with Hallett and Co in September 2011, initially sitting with Martin Stevens in the Litigation department. He now sits with Mark Dewey in the Commercial department.

In his spare time, Esmond likes to lead an active lifestyle, regularly running, swimming, cycling and playing rugby.
